Hayley orrantia was born in the US. Her main focus is actress, but also a songwriter and singer. Many people recognize her as Erica Goldberg, from the TV show, 'The Goldenbergs. However, she considers herself primarily an artist. According to her, music is her first passion. It's something she was experimenting at since she was 9 years old. After she turned 12 years old, music was taken seriously enough, that she started formal training. She ventured into songwriting at 13 and was 14 when she recorded her debut album of covers songs. It was the beginning of her career. Orrantia is of Hispanic roots, however she was born in the USA. Although she never lived or spoken Spanish in Mexico She is extremely proud of her Hispanic heritage. In order to maintain it, she has learned Spanish and created songs that are in Spanish. The singer recorded a Spanish version of a track entitled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia performed for The X Factor during its inaugural season, which aired in the summer of 2011. Orrantia had been picked by a panel of YouTube videos, received an average of four "yeses," from judges at Seattle at the time of live auditions. Her initial audition was for solo performance, but during the "Hollywood Week" she was placed with three other female vocalists to form a trio during the remaining auditions. They were eliminated during the fifth week during the live shows.
