Hayley orrantia is a native of the United States. She is primarily an actor, however she is also a singer and songwriter. People are familiar with her because of her character as Erica Goldberg on the popular TV show The Goldbergs.' But, she is primarily a musician. According to her, music is her first passion. She has been dabbling in since the age of nine years old. As she grew to 12 old, music became seriously enough, that she started professional training. After experimenting with writing songs, she recorded the album with songs at age fourteen. There hasn't been a turning back ever since. Orrantia was born in America but with Hispanic roots. She is proud of the existence of Hispanic origins, although she was raised in English only and never lived in Mexico. She tries to keep it alive by studying Spanish as well as writing songs using the Spanish language. The singer recorded a Spanish version of a track entitled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia appeared on The X Factor during its inaugural season, which aired in the summer of 2011. Orrantia was chosen out of a YouTube video that she submitted and got four "yes" no votes by jury in the live audition stage at Seattle, Washington. The first time she auditioned, she was in the show "Hollywood Week" as a single artist. However, three other women singers and she were brought together for auditions of for the remaining tracks. The group was eliminated at the fifth week in the Live show.
