April Bowlby has been an American actor and model for over 20 years. She's played Kandi on the CBS comedy Two and a Half Men, Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva as well as Rita Farr in Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby is an American actor best famous for her character Stacy Barrett in the American Legal Comedy drama/fantasy television series Drop Dead Diva and Kandi on the show Two and a Half Men. The career path she chose began when she was modeling, and then she moved into films and television series. Following her appearance as an extra in the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and in one-episode parts on other shows, her first appearance on television was in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. After a few years, her breakthrough part as Kandi was a part of Two and a Half Men. Bowlby has gained worldwide recognition for her role as Stacy Barrett, in the hit show Drop Dead Diva. She was the main character of Elastigirl/Rita Farr in the American web-series Titans. The character is set to return as a spin-off of The Doom Patrol television series. Bowlby appeared in TV movies such as Sands of Oblivion or The Wrong Daughter. After appearing as a character in The Slammin Salmon (which was her debut feature), and From Prada, to Nada she made her debut in the big screen with All Roads Lead Home. Bowlby relocated to Manteca California when she was a young girl and went to East Union High School. The acting profession began when she finished her studies in ballet and French. She took drama classes alongside Ivana Chubbuck. She was offered a role in a major television show (Kandi in Two and a Half Men) just a few months after her first Hollywood audition. Bowlby was a part of a variety of TV programs like CSI as Kaitlin Rackish in 2004's CSI: NY with Jenny Lee in 2005 Freddie as Sydney in 2005 Stacked as Jasmine in 2005, and How I Met Your Mother as Meg in 2007. Bowlby has recently played the role of Natasha (a 12-year-old girl) in the film All Roads Lead Home. The film centers around an accident which causes Natasha to be separated from her mother. Bowlby is starring in the 2008 comedic film The Slammin Salmon as Mia. She is from Los Angeles. Naturally red-haired, she is blue-eyed. The woman is single with no children.
