Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actress and writer best known for portraying Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island in the 1960s. Her acting career began as a stage artist during the 1950s, beginning by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Then she appeared in numerous Broadway performances before she was an international star together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. In 1957, she also released her debut music album named It's time to Tina. Louise began the first phase of her Hollywood career in the year 1958 in which she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre, a film that was dramatic. The film was a massive hit and Louise earned her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. When she was a student of Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Her next role that she played as Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her with in 1964. Louise was able to balance her work in between Broadway TV and Hollywood, portraying more somber roles, as in contrast to her portrayal of being a glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and for her role as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although during the past couple of years she has also made an impact as an accomplished director on various well-known television shows including Supernatural or The 100. She was birthed in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family later relocated to Toronto for her early years. Samantha Carter settled in Vancouver and Canada, following her decision for the lead role.
